Embark on thrilling adventures and make new friends in a safe and supportive environment
At Songs of Wilderness, we believe: “To find your true self, one must lose themselves in the woods.” What we offer is four season camping with guidance throughout this empowering and transformational journey, with a variety of options.
Learn essential survival skills like building a fire, purifying water, and reading a compass. You'll gain confidence in the outdoors and be prepared for any situation that comes your way.
Learn how to cook delicious meals over an open flame with Campfire cooking. You'll acquire new culinary skills and enjoy the unique flavors of campfire cuisine
Music is a powerful tool for emotional healing. Music helps us express our feelings and emotions in ways that are often difficult to articulate through traditional forms of communication. It can be used as a form of emotional support, providing comfort and solace during times of distress.
Explore the natural beauty of our surroundings with guided nature walks. Our knowledgeable guides will teach you about the flora and fauna of the area and help you develop a deeper appreciation for the environment.
Find calm in the great outdoors
Nature meditation is a practice that combines the tranquility of nature, with the mindfulness techniques of meditation. It involves immersing yourself in a natural environment
Experience the wonder of the night sky together with stargazing. Looking for planets, shooting stars, constellations and other celestial bodies and gain a new appreciation for the vastness of the universe.
Ah, campfire games! They're the perfect way to amp up the cozy atmosphere and get everyone laughing and connecting around the crackling flames. Think of them as unplugged entertainment, relying on storytelling, imagination, a bit of silliness, and the shared experience of being together.
As we gather around the fire, under the moon and stars we'll be sharing amazing stories from our own experiences of the past, present and future.
At Songs of wilderness Camp, we believe that camping is more than just a fun experience - it's a life-changing one. You'll make new friends, learn new skills, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Walter Benjamin is a guide, teacher, and storyteller rooted in the wisdom of the wilderness. With a heart as open as the sky and a voice that carries like a forest breeze, he creates sacred space for others to reconnect—with themselves, with each other, and with the Earth.
Founder of Songs of Wilderness, Walter’s mission is to help people return to the wild parts of themselves. He leads with gentleness and strength, offering sound healing, survival skills, campfire stories, and moments of soulful stillness beneath the stars.
Though he’s learning the digital world step by step, his true magic lives in the woods—where fires crackle, rivers whisper, and people remember who they are. In those moments, Walter shines his brightest. He believes that everyone carries a song within them, and his gift is creating the space where that song can finally be heard.
At Songs of wilderness Camp, our philosophy is to foster a sense of community and belonging in every person that walks through our doors. We believe that every person should have the opportunity to develop self-confidence, independence, and important life skills through outdoor activities and team-building exercises.
